About Us

We made the decision to setup Lakeland Outbound as supporting young people on their journey though the care system is something extremely close to our hearts and a large part our very own life story. Placements like this gave us lifelong memories and we wanted the chance to give back to the system and help and support young people to also have memories that can last a lifetime. 

 

Our whole Team takes immense pride in the job we do and the fantastic outdoor, high activity-based opportunities we can offer the young individuals who we are giving the opportunity to support whilst having a break with us. 

 

We have put a lot of time and consideration into selecting the areas we use for our provisions, ensuring they are located away from local travel routes and from a safety side, it gives us great comfort that our site has full 24hour security teams and defibrillators onsite for a complete piece of mind.

Our reports are structured, evidence‑based, and submitted within agreed timescales, providing clear analysis to inform professional decision‑making and support positive outcomes for children.

How do you ensure Children's safety during their stay?

Our dedicated team places safeguarding at the core of all we do. We adhere to robust policies and procedures, carry out detailed risk assessments, and maintain clear communication to ensure the highest standards of children’s safety and welfare. Every measure is taken to create a secure, supportive environment where children can thrive and be protected at all times.
